Adventures of MiniWarriors Habitat

While laying on our tummys watching the grasshoppers in MiniWarriors Habitat:

"Mom look! The grasshoppers love each other."

I peered over to where MiniWarrior was pointing.

A small light green grasshopper was clinging to a leaf while a much larger grasshopper was riding on its back...procreating.

"See? They're hugging each other!"

"Uh. Um. (crap I'm so not explaining this) Yes! I see. They're hugging!"

This Habitat is killin' me here, People. Killin' me!

OK, this is the reason Moms have to dye thier hair....*Snicker* just wait it gets so much more fun!...LOL!
When Tessa was about 5 she was out on the back porch with my 23 year old nephew, the was "helping" him paint the railings.
Well anyway it was a bit windy that day and Tessa was wearing a thin t-shirt, all of a sudden I hear Tessa crying and my nephew saying "It's OK, just go in and see Mommy." I was thinking She got paint on her face because I can hear the laughter in my nephew's voice.
Then here comes my poor little girl just bawling her eyes out..."Mommy! What are these?*
Said pointing at the front of her shirt. I say to her trying not to laugh out loud because she is just beside herself, "Oh sweetie that's just your chest..."
She says, "No Mamma, the bumps!"
Me, "Girls get bumps sometimes..."
Tessa, "Make them go away!"
Me, "They will when you warm up."
Tessa, "OK, but I don't like them."
The whole time I'm trying not to laugh because my nephew is standing behind her just killing himself laughing...lol!
I hope you are having a great day!

Ooh! Oh my.

Don't let MW know that my cat LOVES grasshoppers. Just a couple of days ago I found five of the little hoppers in my kitchen/office area. All alive, all brought in by our cat, all missing their back hopping legs. The little hoppers don't stand a chance.

Oh, and in the ew=cool category. My 3-year-old twin niece and nephew just notice my tongue ring last weekend. The girl looked at it, said "ew" and ran away. The boy looked at it after her and just said "cool."
