Fall Goodness

*sniffs the air*

Ahhhh. Nothing beats the smell of Fall time, Peeps.

The crisp morning air. The dewdrops on the grass. The tangy smell of freshly fallen leaves. The wisp of wood smoke trickling from a neighbors fireplace.

I love it.

Nothing makes me feel more alive then September in Washington.

I LOVE the Fall...
For all the reasons you said plus cable knit sweaters in the seasons colours, BIG pots of hearty stew on the stove, with fresh baked bread and butter, (which I start making the October first) And yes I like raking leaves simply to watch the children jump in them.

As for moving, both Tessa and I are looking forward to it..even if it's a little ways off yet.
(((hugs)))

MiniWarrior was sulky starting school but has quickly embraced it and is happy to be there now. :) And I? I have my afternoons back! yay! :D

HI BURT!!!

Laochie: It is! Kudos to the photographer--whomever they are!

Cindy: I love sweaters too!! Purrr purrr purrrr--so cozy.
So you're seriously plannin the move, huh? I wish you all the best :) *hug-a-roos!*

FlipFlop: I love the sunshine but I'm not crazy about the Summer heat. September in Washington is purrrrrfect. We have 70-80 degree weather and the sun is not so sharp on the eyeballs. :D

i agree. every year about this time i miss living in the north where there are distinct four seasons. to see the leaves changing color, the have a sweater season before the heavy boots and winter coat. i really miss that.

Hi Kat,
It's been a long day already....
Yes the kid IS spoiled, not only that he can out stubborn his Mother and the Step-Father is in no shape to deal with this at the moment.
Add to that, The Mother works full-time with an hour and a half commute...There is no one else but me to do what needs to be done...Which is hard because the Mother is constantly making excuses for him. I have more to say but I have to get back to the school...*later*
(((hugs)))
