The Sun made its first Pre-Summertime debut this weekend.
Lord V, MiniWarrior and I dragged all the lawn furniture out then celebrated with a picnic lunch.
Yesterday I was trapped inside at work and longed to feel the Sunshine on my Winter white--rash bruised skin. I daydreamed the work day away thinking of the cushion lined bench that sat nestled in a corner of our backyard.
I zoomed home, made some dinner for Lord V, then snatched up my pillow, book and a wine cooler and headed outside to the bench.
I lay listening to the sound of hawk cries coming from the woods and the sound of the waves, slow moving sailboats created, lapping against the shore.
My book lay unread on my tummy as my mind was filled with the feast of nature.
Lord V joined me afterwhile and we sat commpanionably sipping our drinks and reading our books.
How long will this last? I don't know. But for now? It's paradise.

I sent the frog pic to your email...I hopr he likes it.
Beautiful-
and yet we always do that...
we keep that little grey cloud with us...we tote it around on a string, never quite letting it go.
Cindy: I got it!! Thank you so much. MiniWarriors gonna LOVE it! :D *hugssss*
Jadey: I think its what keeps us from shattering completely when things end...
Sounds peaceful. What was the book?
Laoch: It was a Western by Robert B Parker "Appaloosa". I had just finished his new novel "Resolution" and loved it . I was a little leary as I love his Spencer novels but cannot seem to get into his other series novels--he is comparable to Louis L'Amour with his Western literary sketches.
aw that's so romantic ...
Aafrica: :) It was grand!
