Hey Theresa. I didn't stay up and watch it but I saw film clips of it. It was as pathetic as his racist rant.
Atrocious, wasn't it? My only hope is that people like him don't have kids to pass their unacceptable beliefs down to.
Indigo: It truly was. Nothing he can say right now will make it right. He needs to apologize then shut his mouth and disappear for a year to do some soul searching. Right now with his major push to repair his image--he's just more disgusting. It's obviously not "guilt" for something badly done...it's, "omg I've destroyed my career and must repair it".

I actually almost laughed when he then called the hecklers "Afro-Americans" on Letterman.

I think Jerry was trying to be a friend. I thought he showed correct disgust but was trying to support a friend. I can't say I blame him there. It's hard when you discover something ugly about a person you have cared for.
