I drive MiniWarrior back and forth to school on Thursdays and Fridays.
Today, when we pulled up at his school he said:
"Mom, I can walk myself to my class. I don't need you."
*sigh*
Where did the little boy go who begged to hold my hand all the way to class?
He's growing up.

Awh... He's too young, isn't he? Oh no... my daughter is only a year younger. :-/
I felt the same way when I was his age.
Awww....breaks your heart don't it?
OH Hap Kat... that entry down there "goodness" has me in tears...I am So happy for you...
dam I thought I was going to make it through a day without crying.
LaChanson: I keep telling myself its normal. He's getting older...but...*sigh* I'll miss my little boy.
Laochie: I know it's normal. He's my only one. It's hard for me to take that necessary step back and let him go.
Slick: Yup. Momma heart did a little *crackle*
Jadey: Thank you, Jadey :) You know, you and Dragonlady helped me. Watching you both take bold steps forward in your life enabled me to lose my fear and take one of my own :) *big hugsss*
