MiniWarrior~ism
MiniWarrior eyeballed me over his half eaten bagel as I trudged into the kitchen this morning.
MW: "Mom, you look tired."
Me: "Good morning, Son."
MW: "You look like a Zombie...why don't you drink some coffee."

I hope the doctors found you co-worker's throat cancer early. I had throat cancer too and they used radiation to try to shrink the tumor. It didn't shrink enough so I had my vocal cords removed, along with the tumor.
I wish better for your friend.

Bob: coworker and I had erronously scheduled our surgerys at the same time. He to correct a broken nose that he had broken years before and me for my faulty uterus. When I found out I told him I would reschedule my surgery for a later date. He argued and said that I should go as planned and he was thinking of just cancelling his surgery.
I wouldn't hear of it so I went and called my doc moving my surgery up a few weeks.
He went in for his nose surgery and thats when they found the lump in his throat. Nothing had spread (thank god) and they are talking radiation treatments to make sure nothing does grow after they removed the (cancerous) lump.
I still feel cold inside when I think of how close he came to NOT going in for his surgery due to our scheduling misshap.
