They asked me many questions and a tall, skinny blond nurse drew a vial of my blood.
"Wow. You have really light red blood!" Skinny Blond Nurse says, flicking a finger against the full vial. "It looks almost Pink!"
"Sweet!" Says I. "Pink ROCKS!"
Skinny Blond Nurse shoots me a strange look; from the corner of my eye I spy the Administrative Nurse covertly check something on my chart.
"Whatchu markin' down there?" I say, leaning forward to peer at her scribbles on my chart.
"Oh just...stuff." She says, sliding a paper over her notes, her face assuming the careful blank look of 'don't agitate the crazy patient'.
Hmm.
I'd better not wake up post surgery buckled in a straight jacket, is all I'm saying...
