Purrrrrrlicious!

I went to a budget theater last night and watched the movie, 300.
What a beautifully shot movie! It was like watching a moving painting...and don't get me started on the loin cloth clad, 6 pack ab men!

Mmmm...muscly sword wielding men...purrrrr...

*blink*

So...um...yeah! Go see this movie if you can catch it still in a theater by you!

*purrrr purrrr purrrrr*

Good Lord! A girl wanders off for a month or two, and you fall to pieces!

Glad the utero is gone, and the throat polyps. And the EWO.

I sense some grief in there somewhere, and I'm pretty sure it's not about the aforementioned body parts and relative.

I hope you are well -- just a little blue? -- and are healing perfectly.

How much does a uterus weigh? I'm thinking of having mine removed, if only to defeat Husband in the weight-loss competition. ; )

Oh, and MiniMe at 5? Beautiful! Just beautiful!

Hi there - Sounds like MiniMe is growing up.... be grateful for small favors - at least he doesn't PMS! :D
As for the 300 - we really wanted to see that - but by the time we COULD get to it, it was GONE! (we wanted to see it in IMAX actually! but would have settled for a regular theatre!). So....I guess we'll just wait for it to come out on DVD........ sigh..... all those 6-pak abs woulda been all that much better spread across 6 stories!!!!!
Thanks for all the suggestions on what to do with the Little guy.... wouldja believe that since we talked to his teachers - he's come home with multitudinious A's!!!! even in MATH!!!!! sigh........He CAN do the work.....if he is bored in math its really because he DOESN'T understand it and DOESN'T want to..... unfortunately, he is not so smart he is bored...

like Kay, I sense some loss that was hard to swallow... for that loss whatever it is or was, I am sorry. Loss or grief of any kind is never a good thing despite the fact that it is a natural part of life and must be endured.
Take care of yourself - you are an amazing strong, wonderful person - know that you have friends out here for that extra "shoulder" should you need it.

I MUST tell you - I dropped over to cuteoverload from here and went BANANAS!
Found a picture of a bunny stealing a cookie that reminded me of our bunny Buster who always stole Ritz Crackers from me. Someone said the pic was photoshopped - I'm thinking that was someone who knows NOTHING about RABBITS! :D
Thanks for dropping by - i hope that things will get better for you soon! Till then - my thoughts are with you!
Many scritches of fondness!

I saw that movie with my husband when it first came out. Let me just say that those loin clothes certainly fueled a number of overly-imaginative dreams in my little head. My husband was fine with it until I started shouting "Go Leonidas!" in my sleep. Methinks he was a bit jealous.

kay: My doc asked if I had any questions after my post-op checkup. I said, "Yes! How much did my Uterus weigh!"
She said,"Oh! I actually have that information!" She pulled out my file and proceeded to tell me the size and weight of everything lost inside me. I think the total came to 3lbs. Disappointing, hmm?!!
Good to see you back blogging! See what happens when you leave for so long??!

Dragonlady: Good news about your son! :D I wish my parents had been as involved as you are. Maybe I'd actually know things instead of having to google every little thing! lol
Accumulative loss is hitting me hard. I'll get my mental energy back and face it head on. Right now I'm busy licking my wounds. (not figuratively)-ew. lol
Thank you for your wonderful, sweet support *multiple scritches!*

Dragonlady: Isn't that site awesome????? I zip over there every day to steal some picture LOL
Many a blue day has been shed over some crazy little thing they've posted on that site.
The last one was the white dog with the pink slippers. My man has a dog like that and it slayed me. I laughed and laughed.
:D
*scritches a dragon scale and grins*

3 pounds? a uterus can weigh that much? i always thought of them as being less weighty because they can grow. interesting. not necessarily the best way to have found out, but still interesting.

keep healing!

ksgrrl: I think the uterus itself didn't way 3lbs but the tumors inside it gave it the added weight.
It feels like 20lbs has been taken off me though. I walk much lighter. :)
