I feel bad for you on the west coast, with your gas prices reaching so high. The highest in my area has been 3 dollars. But I guess that's more incentive to lose the weight, for you can ride it before the gas prices reach insane amounts.
I'm so uncool. I know that cycles are cool, but what I really want is a Vespa so I can pretend like I'm motoring around Italy in my beautiful flowery dress. ;)

Ksgrrl: I love Vespas! They aren't really practical out where I live. Too many busy roads and not enough slower paced places to tool around on a Vespa with. Cuz you know...I'd SO have a pink one adorned with Hello Kitty if I could!! :D Europe would be the PERFECT place for a Vespa!
